THE SERVICE

Finish the move with less left behind.

An old sofa, unwanted garage boxes or several rooms of furniture can become one reviewed removal list. JunkPDX, operated by Solely Junk LLC, serves Portland metro, Vancouver and south to Woodburn. Check your ZIP and available appointments before relying on a visit in your move-out schedule.

The last few bulky items

Leave the unwanted couch, mattress, table or dresser on the removal list. Tell us which room and floor each piece is on so carrying and access are included in the estimate.

Apartment and rental move-outs

Identify furniture and loose household contents that should leave, along with the building’s access rules. Keep keys, moving boxes and the landlord’s belongings clearly separate.

Downsizing and larger leftovers

Group unwanted items by room, including storage areas and the garage. Larger projects may need crew review and a separate work plan before an appointment can be confirmed.

Choose what goes with the movers and what goes with us.

Move-out junk removal takes unwanted items away for disposal or another reviewed destination. Keep the moving and removal inventories separate, even if both crews will work at the same address.

Send photos of every removal group. Check drawers, cabinets, furniture compartments and boxes for documents, keys and valuables. Keep undecided items out of the approved pile; the crew should not have to choose what you meant to keep.

Plan around your actual handover deadline.

Share the date you must vacate, when the movers expect to finish and any limits on access afterward. Clearing unwanted items before moving day can make sense when they are already identified. A pickup after the movers leave can capture the final leftovers, provided the address remains accessible.

Check the live schedule and your booking receipt rather than assuming a requested time is reserved. Tell us about a firm key-return deadline before relying on a visit. Same-day availability depends on the address, project and crew schedule; larger or unusual jobs may need review first.

Check how same-day pickup works

Arrange access and a person who can approve the work.

Confirm elevator reservations, loading areas, parking instructions and permitted service hours. Mention stairs, long hallways, narrow doors and anything needing an unusual route. A building reservation does not reserve a junk removal appointment.

Identify who will meet the crew, confirm the removal list and approve the onsite total. If you will already be away, discuss access and approval arrangements with the team before the visit. Do not assume a lockbox code or an unlocked door is enough to authorize changes to the job.

Agree on the complete removal and what remains afterward.

Photos help explain the job, but the crew confirms the final estimate onsite. Review the items, carrying route, loading, hauling, disposal and any special handling included. Approve the total before removal starts, and agree on a revised estimate if you add items or change the scope.

Keep paint, fuel, chemicals and unknown containers separate for advance review. Ask about unusually heavy items before booking. Junk removal does not automatically include move-out cleaning, repairs or moving labor. Arrange those services separately and review the cleared rooms against your agreed list before handing over the property.

SERVICE QUESTIONS

Before you book.

Can you remove furniture the movers will not take?

Yes, unwanted furniture can be reviewed for removal. List each piece, its location and any difficult access. Keep furniture going to your new home clearly marked and separate from the approved removal list.

Should I book before or after moving day?

Choose based on when the unwanted items are settled and when you can provide access. Share the moving schedule and key-return deadline, then check available appointments. Do not leave a firm handover dependent on an unconfirmed request.

Can you clear an entire apartment?

An apartment’s unwanted contents can be reviewed as one project. Explain what belongs to the landlord, what stays and how the crew reaches the loading area. Larger clearances may need crew review before scheduling.

Do you include move-out cleaning?

Cleaning, repairs and moving belongings to another address are separate from junk removal. The estimate should identify the carrying, loading, hauling and disposal work included in your pickup.

Where can I book move-out junk removal?

Current service is through JunkPDX across Portland metro, Vancouver and south to Woodburn, subject to address coverage and appointment availability. Seattle and Boise are developing markets and are not accepting customer bookings yet.
